Since 2007 Better Futures Minnesota has been at the crossroads of social justice and environmental stewardship. Embracing men who have been locked out of our society, living in chronic poverty, with histories of incarceration, persistent unemployment, untreated mental illness, addiction, and homelessness. We continually work to help change policies that lead to mass incarceration and the cycles of dependency that disproportionately affect the men we serve, along with policies that impact Minnesota’s environment and landfills.
Our social enterprise supports the personal transformation of these men by providing stable employment and transferable job skills, while promoting a healthier Minnesota environment, through our structural deconstruction, re-use sales, and waste diversion services.
