Are you interested in joining our workforce development program?
What are the requirments for joining better Futures?
In order to join better Futures MN as a participant you must be a resident of Hennepin or Ramsey County, at least 18 years or older and have been recently released from incarceration or on probation/parole for at least a year. You must be committed to work, being ready, willing and able to do it everyday. You must have a willingness to change while being compassionate and patent with the changes along the way.
Please note we cannot accept anyone with Adult sex or arson crimes.
What is the location and hours of the program?
We are located at 2620 Minnehaha Ave in Mpls and the day starts at 7am and ends at 3:30pm Monday - Friday. Please note there are times where weekend work is available if you choose.
Is a job provided with our workforce development program?
Yes, during the first two - three weeks you will go through our training and academy program. After you have successfully complete the paid training you will be ready to work in one of our various business lines which include deconstruction, property maintenance, appliance recycling or janitorial. We will rotate you through various business lines so you have a variety of work experience.
